  11. the NEXTSTEP Registered Developer Program (NRDP). With a focus on
  12. support, communication, and market access, this program is aimed
  13. at providing developers with a framework for success on the
  14. NEXTSTEP platform.

  17. an individual or organization developing commercially available, off-the-shelf
  18. products for NEXTSTEP.

  20. PROGRAM BENEFITS
  21. Participation in the NRDP facilitates your access to NEXTSTEP
  22. software and to a range of optional training and support products.
  23. It also provides essential technical and market communication. As
  24. a registered developer, you'll receive:

  26. 1.  Discounts on NEXTSTEP Education, Support, and Software
  27. 30% off support products and training courses from NeXT as
  28. well as special discounts on a limited number of copies of
  29. NEXTSTEP and NEXTSTEP Developer software(*). Refer to
  30. local NeXT price lists and see the Support and Education
  31. Catalog for support and training product details.

  33. 2.  Technical Support
  34. Technical support products bundled free with the NRDP
  35. include: NEXTSTEP In Focus, a publication with system
  36. administration and end-user information; NXApp, NeXT's new
  37. developer bulletin focused on NEXTSTEP programming; and
  38. NeXTanswers Quarterly which provides regular technical
  39. support information on CD-ROM.
  40. Take advantage of NeXTanswers as well, a document-
  41. retrieval system free to all NEXTSTEP users.

  43. 3.  Direct Communication
  44. Monthly updates via e-mail from NeXT to keep you current
  45. in the NEXTSTEP marketplace, including information about
  46. products, schedules, partnerships, events, and marketing
  47. programs.

  49. 4.  Direct Marketing Opportunities
  50. Opportunities to market your services to NEXTSTEP
  51. customers and resellers through "blind" mailings. NeXT
  52. will also facilitate contact with more than 200 NEXTSTEP
  53. user groups and more than 300 PC user groups.  In addition
  54. NeXT will help you reach a wider audience by posting your
